What: The "Purge" Spring Cleaning
When: This event has been postponed until Saturday, 14 April 2018, 9:00am - 1:00pm

It's that time of year again. We’re clearing out abandoned projects and the boneyard. We’ll have a dumpster and a determined attitude.

If you want anything from the boneyard, you must take it home. (Okay, technically, as long as you get it off LVL1 property we don't really care where you take it, but you can't leave it here.)

The wood shop should not be used for storage. If you have materials in there either take them home or make sure they are labeled with your name and put into member storage. If they don't fit on your shelf, there is a designated area along the back wall for storing wood.

Everything in member storage should either be on your shelf or labeled with your name and should be things you are actively working on. If it's an old project it is subject to removal to make room for active projects.

Pizza will be provided for dedicated helpers!

Did you know that LVL1 has a textiles area with sewing and embroidery machines? This Open Sewing and Suture Night is not a sewing class, but it is an opportunity to bring in a sewing project or learn about our machines while other like-minded hackers are here. This event is free of charge.

You do not need to be a member to attend this event or use our equipment to make cool things.

This Saturday, 28 October 2017, join us for our 7th annual Sumobot Tournament/Halloween Party. You don't have to be a member to attend this fun event. Watch autonomous robots try to push each other out of the ring. Costumes are encouraged. (And, of course, all kinds of nerdiness is encouraged -- costumewise or otherwise.) Festivities begin around 8:00 pm and last until way after the last robot is left standing.

 

 

The Sumobot Tournament will probably begin around 9:00pm. The party has no end in sight.
