This is a celebration and appreciation event for all who helped and supported the #100Hats Project in 2020, 2021, and 2022. We are so grateful for your support! We have donated around 300+ hats and other handmade winter clothing items since this project started. Tea and cookies will be provided. If you want to learn to make a simple hat or scarf, yarn and crochet hooks will be available for loan while at the Hackerspace so you can learn. Amy Shah will teach you the basic stitches to begin.

#100Hats Project
This winter season Amy Shah is leading an initiative called the #100Hats Project to make and donate 100+ handmade winter clothing items to people in need in West and Downtown Louisville. She is partnering with LVL1 Hackerspace which has been awarded a grant to help realize this goal. This is the second winter for this project. It was very successful last year! LVL1 members made over 100 hats to give to people in need. This year, we have made 26 handmade hats to date and donated them to Centerstone and the Home of the Innocents. We are accepting yarn or monetary donations at LVL1 Hackerspace 1205 East Washington St. www.lvl1.org
